I've never been satisfied with DeviantArt. The annoying subcategories, the crappy search engine, the division between gallery and scraps, the difficulty of communicating with people, plus various design issues that just irk the hell out of me like how there's no simple "About Me" section in our profiles. You have to jerry-rig one by making a badge then posting it in a particular place. Fuck that.

I think a blog fits better with how I want to present and talk about my pictures. I picked blogspot largely because I've seen several art blogs there and figured they must have a good image hosting system.
